i purchased dvds on black friday thru target.com one month later i get an email that the order is cancel because they were out of stock. when i checked 4 target stores they had them in stock. when i called target.com pretending to be a new customer they had the dvds in stock but at the new price not the black friday price. they would not send them to me although i ordered them in nov but if i paid they new price of 13.00 each (3.99 ea was the black friday price) then they would have them in stock and ship them.

I have been a witness of Mrs. Parham giving for 14yrs. She has given her own as well as what was donated. She is the type of person who has some how touch every need in the community in one way or another. She has helped the homeless, feeding, clothing, hair cuts, showers, giving and showing them respect and love, many whom still visit and ask about her often. She has helped people that has been on drugs. Families who's children did not have the proper clothing, meeting and advocating for them and their special needs. Taking on children in her after school program that were not welcome in other programs, whether they could pay or not. Now the youth where I am sure all of us can agree there is most definitely a need for help in this area. Mrs. Parham has taking on some of our communities most needy children catching them early in life and instilling in them Love and respect for themselves and the lord. She's allowing programs in the church that really addresses todays youth such as: violence in and out of the home, educating them on sex and absence, consequences, smoking, drugs and tobacco. She is truly what she seems to be. "GOD's foot soldier".

In the name of JESUS

Ms Parham has the strong Faith of many of God willing soliders.

I have know Ms Dororthy Parham for many years and she has always been an encouragement to myself, my family and the church.

For as long as I have know Ms. Parham better known as Ms. P
she has been a bright light to our young people.

Ms. Parham has always had a good listening ear and a warm heart to help our young people as they explore to find themselves and their purpose of life on today society.

In this society we have so many young people with lost souls because they have no where to go for safety or guidance.

But I myself can testify that the TiLC bldg and its members have been a GREAT help to our young people as far as (counseiing sessions, job workships, Teen nites, and a place for hot meals and snacks).

The TiLC bldg located at 1443 East Main St across from the RTS city bus station needs to remain open with lights on so that the lost may find their way to a safe place for guidance and counseling.

Ms. Parham is such a nice lady and she has been through many trials and tribulations in her life. She has a loving and caring spirit like no other. She only wishes to help others who are in need and be a calming voice to many. I wish her the best of luck and much success.

Great post Alex. I see it coming too. Probably why I'm working with farmers these days -- they know how to grow food. And you know how to build shelter and I know how to cook and Tanvi knows how to make clothes. All we need is a doctor friend.

Cheers. It's gonna be a wild ride.

Great post Alex. I find particularly interesting the notion that OWS and the Tea Party have major similarities. What 50% of the TP folks and maybe 10% of the OWS folks have figured out is that the 1% are not people who got incredibly wealthy and powerful by working hard to produce goods and services to trade with their fellow man.

Their wealth and power are a result of what Albert Jay Nock described as the "political means." These are the bankers who use the Federal Reserve to pyramid debt within a fractional reserve banking system. They are the people who use eminent domain to snatch the property of others. They are the people who lobby the government to regulate their domestic and foreign competitors out of business. They are the people who foment constant war to benefit the military industrial complex. They are the people who gave mortgages to people knowing full well they could sell the debt to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. They are the people who rolled the dice with other people's money knowing full well that the profits would be there's to keep and the losses would be picked up by the tax payers.

Over and over again you find that wherever there is an expansion of the state, robbery follows. I find it rather disheartening that the ignorant, confused but nonetheless justifiably outraged protesters at OWS will rail against rising injustice and blame it on the wrong people.
